My cousin has a Boston Terrier (full blood) whom got pregnant by the neighbors Lab (full blood)… the puppies were born a few nights ago, how long do they need to stay with the mom? how big will they be at full grown size?
The pups need to stay a min of 8 weeks they need to be socialized and humanized from 6 weeks on . After 8 weeks they start to develop pack mentality and it is best they do that with their human pack (new owners).
Pups usually size down toward the females size natures way of protecting mom.

they cannot leave there mum til they are 8 weeks at least, they will be either the mums size or the dads size ir in between.
