Does anyone know where there are any available Boston Terrier puppies for sale - for pet not to breed or show?
Consider adopting an adult dog! They are all too often overlooked and subsequently euthanized, even if they have been housebroken and area easier to take care of. Here are the many benefits of adopting an adult dog:

Contact a breed rescue in your area. Generally they have lots of dogs needing good homes!

You can go the high road or the low road with this. The high road is expensive, and the low road is not so much.
You can Dog Fancy magazine or you can go online and locate the Boston Terrier Breeders' Association (that may not be its precise name, but such an association does exist for every AKC breed. These are the folks who breed show dogs and the really purebred Boston terriers. You can locate a breeder relatively near you, and begin the processing of purchasing a known bloodline, known personality Boston terrier from them. In addition, these breeders' associations have rescue groups. Boston terriers with good bloodlines whose owners die, go to jail, go bankrupt, marry someone who is allergic — whatever — and have or choose to surrender their pets can turn them over to the breeders' association rescue group.
These folks find the pet a new and very good home, and the ones I know about do not charge more than an adoption fee. The only restriction is that the animal must be spayed or neutered. This is the breeders' association's way of being sure that animals with excellent bloodlines don't wind up making babies in a puppy mill, or being bred by amateurs. If you want a pet and the Boston terriers' breeders' association has a rescue program, this might be a good deal for you.
The low road is simply adoption from a shelter. I don't know where you live, but in the larder urban areas (I live in New York City), you can contact certain shelters, let them know you are searching to adopt a Boston terrier, and as soon as one becomes available, they will notify you. The North Shore Animal League on Long Island (you may want to Google them) is one such organization. They get purebreds from around the country, and it is just possible you would be able to deal with them. They are quite famous.
In your search for a specific (and popular) breed of dog, this lousy economy is on your side, because people are losing their jobs and homes and surrendering their pets to shelters. So you may want to look into this option first. Shelters now have a national network.
Boston terriers are delightful, expressive little guys. I live in Manhattan, and a number of people in my neighborhood have them. They are so sweet and alert and responsive, sensitive to the nuances of their person's behaviors. They do seem to be wonderful pets.
I hope this helps, and I hope you find a sweet little guy to come live with you.
Good luck!
