i have a 4 year old male boston terrier he is a wonder full dog BUT i cant get him to not EAT my blankets i always need a new blanket by the end of the month ive broght him to the vet the vet said i have a gay dog that like to hump cats and eat blankets ive tried the cage i also have a 5 month old but he has been doing this waybe i broght her home since he was about 1 year old he has no balls and up to date with every god given shot i hurd about the plug in the wall thing but thats 60.00 just for a months worth is there anything else out there???
any toy with stuffing it looses its eyes and stuffing ive done the dog traing all he larned is to piss me off more
my boston will do stuff like that. but every time he chews on stuff that he is not supposed to he gets in trouble. i just have a lot of dog toys laying around and he plays with those most of the time except when something gets left on the floor. then he tears that to little pieces. i would say he will grow out of it but probly not because of his age. my mom is a boston terrrier breeder. i have been around them for the last 6 or 7 years. i would not spray stuff on your blankes you sleep with those and they could damage the fabric. hope this helps alittle.

i have heard of like sprays that taste really bitter that you can put on your furniture. And your vet is stupid, they are supposed to try to help you with this kind of thing. You could also call a dog trainer. They can probably help you.

Get him stuff to chew on like those red rubber things you can stick treats in. That should keep him occupied.

Close your bedroom door so he can’t get to your blanket?

we have a 4 year old that does the same thing since we first got him– he had to be taken from his mother early due to her having heart worms – we asked our vet about this and he said that it is a security issue like kids sucking the thumb-buy your dog a baby blanket and teach him its his and he can’t have the others. mine walks around with his in his mouth sometimes like Linus in Charlie Brown but he knows it his and when it comes out of the dryer and he sees he comes running for it -you can get the cheap ones at the $1 store -he’s had this one for over a year now and when you get him a new one he’s all excited. he also like stuff animals or the little dolls in a happy meal, he has some he has had for years and the still are in good condition (the stuffing is not coming out of them) some of the dolls have seen better days we throw them away and get him a new one.
he likes to go threw the drive thru window and see the toy come out of the bag – try gettting the blanket and see if it works for you – we had one that would chew the eyes of the stuffed animals when was left alone because he was mad
these dogs are like children and have to be babied sometimes and are sensitive-hope this helps
