Are Boston Terriers Hind Legs Suppose to Stick Out When There Little?

I went to check out a puppy and when i placed him on the floor he ran funny and his back legs were a little long and stuck out sideways. Is that normal when there little?

No, it's not normal and I would suspect a birth defect. Does the breeder have OFA certificates on the parents' knees, hips and elbows, BAER results, and CERF results (on BOTH parents)? If not, run in the opposite direction. Look here for information on choosing a reputable Boston Terrier breeder (under the "Finding a Boston" section): http://www.bostonterrierclubofamerica.org/

Add: Photos of normal, quality Boston puppies: http://www.wynotbostons.com/cowpokes.html As you can see, aside from the ones too young to walk, no 'sticking out' back legs.

Well it depends on a few things:
    1) how old was the puppy, if he was under 5 weeks of age then it was normal. Over 5 weeks old there could be a problem.
    2) Whay type of flooring was the pup on. Pups have problems getting their footing on linoleum or wood flooring.
