A Boston Terrier may be a difficult thing to find in the UK because they are an American breed. But, this doesn't not mean it is impossible.
As Far as rescuing is concerned, it may be impossible to rescue a BT in the UK, as they are relatively rare there.

I am thinking about buying a puppy in the next couple months. I know how easy it can be to get ripped off by breeders. Can anyone tell me the average price of a boston terrier puppy? Also looking into a pug puppy as well…thanks!
Depends on the breeder. If you are buying from a well known kennel and they show their dogs, they can be pricey because it costs alot to show them, clean up after them and welp them. There is also the cost of food, medication, stud fees, shots, c-sections etc.
Some breeders know of smaller kennels who are just starting out and their prices will be cheaper so just ask around. (Usually with dogs they sold them)
With this economy I am sure there is a puppy out there with your name on it. Just be patient and look around. You are going to have this dog for many years. make sure it is healthy and exactly what you want.
Does anyone know a good a credible boston terrier breeder.
Breeder should specialise in boston terriers, no other breeds under the same roof. Should be a breeder who breeds only one litter at a time and raises them in there house (until certain age, we want a puppy). The breeder should offer a health guarentee, and should guarentee that they will refund my money if the puppy they have sold me has a genetically inherited condition. I would like to see pictures of and provide information about the puppies father.

I would avoid any puppy finder sites at all costs. The best place to find a breeder like you describe (which is a great description, btw) is through the parent club for the breed. The Boston Terrier Club of America was founded by the people who started the breed and has been in existence ever since. Most of this club's members live, breathe, and die for Boston Terriers and the well being of the breed. That doesn't mean that there are no bad ones there, but the vast majority are wonderful. The club has a breeder referral service. The breeder referral person will have a list of all BTCA members in your area and may know whether someone there has a litter. Even if she doesn't know what litters are available, she can refer you to nearby breeders who will be glad to talk with you and help you find a puppy.

Save yourself at least 1400 dollars. If you really want a good dog, try going to an animal rescue shelter and see what they have. You can find all kinds of loyal, loving, cuddly and SMART, trainable dogs there…and for a lot less money. When you pay exorbitant prices for questionably bred "purebred"? dogs, you cheat yourself, and add to the pet overpopulation problem, and generally end up paying less than 100.00 for the dog at a shelter.Many shelters have purebred or near purebred, and hybrid dogs. I'm sure you would be able to find one to your liking!
my beloved family pet molly passed away a little while ago and my family is looking to add another boston to the family but it seems things are much different than they were 10 years ago. when we got molly we saw an ad in the paper and went to the breeders house and saw all 7 puppies and choose. today my mother called a breeder and she basically said you cant come up to see them (which is understandable) until april but she said there is only one girl left and if we wanted it we would have to put a deposit before even seeing her! do you know of any boston terrier breeders in the new england region? and why do breeders make you put a deposit before even seeing them? am i the only one who misses the old days were the family went and picked out there little dog and then paid for her/him?
Go to the AKC's web site and find a breeder through them.
When we decided to get our puppy from a breeder when the female was confirmed pregnant we put down a $200 deposit. However, one puppy was still available and the interested person did not have to put a deposit down, they could come see the puppy.
You should tell the person asking you for the deposit that you don't want the pup HELD for you, that you would like to meet her and then decide if you want her. If that isn't an option, look on.
While you're on AKCs web site check out Boston Terrier rescue groups. You could get the dog you want and save a life.
i live in ny and i want to find a good boston terrier breeder, who doesn't sell to puppy mills or anything bad. i also don't wanna pay $1000 or some crazy price, i'm 14 and paying for the dog on my own so if anyone knows of a breeder with low prices around $300 that would be appreciated
